Ding-Ding-Ding! Well, well, well...look who's back!! Hehe--and you know, it's feels damn good to be doing this again, too. Yeah, I definitely needed the break, but just so everyone knows, my intentions were to start this up again once we got our new page going, however that little venture got sidelined for a while. I'll discuss the new website in our forum, but the real reason for my early return can be directly attributed to a few updates I was doing on our website. I happened to browse through the old SLO_NOTES (stay tuned!!) and our N&N Archive section, and it really brought back some of the good times we had, ya know? That's when it hit me; I had to fire this baby up again! I realized I had some of the best times verbally abusing my friends/teammates, so heck yeah, I HAD to come back!! The SuperStar had taken over posting while I was on break, keeping up with the tourneys and such, so MUCH thanks to him!! So...DO check this page every now and again for updates, and if I have something really big, I'll drop a line in our forum that this page is jumpin' (no pun intended)!!!
April 26, 2002 - Two things about this team are absolutely irrefutable: 1. We're one of the hottest teams in the Zone today, and 2. we've got some really odd characters amongst us!! The range varies from a guy who uses the abbreviation of his home state (PA) as his name so he can remember where he lives, to another winner whose sole aspiration in life is to be a domesticated animal (often found on farms and around ponds...quack, quack). Needless to say we've added yet another "charmer" to the list, and although it sends chills down my spine to say this, allow me to introduce SLO's newest acquisition...
SLO_Redneck
Hehe--I always find it amusing how nice people are when they're trying to get on the team, and then how totally obnoxious and pushy they wind up being after they've made the team. This guy, however, is looking to set new standards. Let me give you an example. Here's a little snapshot of Red's 2nd or 3rd day "in training" for SLO:
Now compare it to this, his last day in training, which was this morning:
Yeah, it's a good thing home cheese ran out of time on his trial period or he would've had a pretty tough time making this team with cracks like that! I'm as sure about that as I am that SLO_nLuVnIt used to be an Orangutan in a former life. I'm not kiddin, man - ask her (or it, rather). All that make-up don't fool me!!
» Well, despite the tasteless commentary at the end of his trial, we'll go ahead and give this guy the customary gift package all new SLO's receive (but most never use...and for a good reason). For starters, we're hooking "Big Red" up with 8-pkg set of thongs (with matching tops and color coordinated berets), a "32 television (picture tube not included), 2 Hot Wheels matchbox cars (stripped - no wheels, no doors...no nuthin), a $1.38 gift certificate to any Arby's in The Sahara Desert (goodluck, pal), and last, but not least, a 3-day course (taught in 9 min) on how to totally wipe out every necessary file for MTM-2 instructed by SLO_BRO_USA - and trust me, he's gooooooooooood!! Hehe, seriously though, from everyone on the team - congrats, Red, and welcome to SLO, bud!!!
