The Challenge  posted by COPE @ Oct 22, 2002
We have a few challenge matches setup to take place this weekend.  The first is your basic guys vs girls...or at least I think they're girls.  They hang out in the woods a lot, & they can climb a 50-ft tree in the time it takes most people to put on a pair of socks, so uh...yeah lol.  At any rate, myself, SLO_RAZ, and SLO_Destroyer are set to duke it out with SLO_Christy, SLO_Vyper, and SLO_nLuVnIt, and you can rest assured us guys will emerged victorious!

The other is simply to put to rest a trumped up, misguided notion that SLO_NoX(ema) and SLO_GT3K (stands for "Gee I'm 'Tupid & I can only count to 3, k") are the kings of RnR.  I assure you, they're not.  Their claim to fame is that they're undefeated, which I won't refute...but then they've never played SLO_nOct3rn4l and SLO_COPE.  Needless to say when it's all said and done, they'll be very familiar with the expression, "pain, anguish and humiliation beyond the endurance of man" lol.  More to come...

More Tracks!  posted by COPE @ Oct 18, 2002
We're currently in the process of adding more tracks to our Miscellaneous Track Page.  If you've been looking for something different & unique, by all means try one of the tracks flagged with a yellow marker.  Yes, they lack the visual flare you're accustomed to seeing in today's tracks, but they're still great fun to run!  Hopefully you'll find something that suites your taste.

RnR & CNR  posted by COPE @ Oct 13, 2002
After yesterday's Fast Lanes event it appears there is an interest in CNRs after all, and everyone who participated had a great time doing the RnRs as well.  I'm definitely a racer at heart, however to me the various formats of MTM 2 provide a nice change of pace, and it affords me the opportunity to meet & play with people who aren't die-hard racers.

So...what we'll do here on SLO is hold CNR and RNR gatherings on a more frequent basis.  I'm not sure how frequent since I'll have to discuss that with the team, but DO stay tuned to this page for updates on the topic.  Thanks to all of you who came out to support our Fast Lanes event!
