Page Changes & Recent Updates posted by COPE Oct 22, 2003

Getting right to the point, we've made a few recent updates to the page.  It's mostly small stuff, but hey, often times those are the things that make all the difference in the world.

For starters, we added Adoob's track list to the APL page, as well as restored our HBC Rumble list to that same page.

PaPa has updated all the garage setting pages where necessary, as well as created a page for Adoob's list and our HBC list.

Lastly, the format of the N&U will change slightly effective immediately.  Tourney results will only be posted in the forum.  General MTM 2 news, new track releases, and new memberships will continue to be announced here.  Demi and possibly MUDDD will be joining the fray assisting with some of the maintenance requirements on our site.  It's always good to have a contingency plan (or in this case, two!), ya know.

Other than that, everything else will remain the same - lots of tracks, trucks, utilities, links to other great MTM 2 sites, and a pretty lively forum.  Oh and do check out our History page if new to our page.  We kinda like how our story unfolded over the years from extremely meager beginnings.  Heck if you have little ones, print it out and read it to them as a bed-time story lol.  Also be sure to checkout our superb Hall of Fame site, which was developed by Jumper.

That's it for now.  If anyone has a question or you see something that's not quite right, simply drop me a line by clicking on my name in the post header above...or below.  If I can't fix it, I'll turn the problem over to someone who can lol.

More Track Lists (Not by SLO) posted by COPE Oct 15, 2003

When we introduced the idea of racing lists we had hopes of it catching on, but at the same time we had our doubts.  Needless to say it has in fact become very popular, and understandably so.  It's a very efficient way to ensure everyone has the same tracks, as well as a means of maximizing the immense variety of this game.  Having said that, I'd like to make mention of two guys who've come up with lists of their own:  Adoob & ONaN.

ONaN's list can be found at his site nicely packaged up and ready to download.  Since Adoob didn't have his posted on a site, I took the liberty of making a page much like the ones we use for our other track lists.

About the consolidated zip listed at the top of the page - it only contains 23 tracks; not the entire 71 tracks you see on the list.  The reasons are threefold:

We run 48 of the 71 tracks on his list, hence uploading

the entire lists would result in massive redundancy.  It's

the same rationale we employed for the Vintage list.

There are a number of people who already have our

lists, so I figured this method is less painful for them.

Finally, for those who only want this list, the tracks are

now consolidated on one page and linked.  Prior to

today one would have to research the pod name and

     download the track.

Lastly, if you DO have our track lists you can download this ini.  The ini listed on Adoob's track list page contains 5 ZooN tracks.  Our J-C list has the ZooN Paks, so I edited this particular .ini accordingly.

There are lots of great tracks out here to race, and the best part is with this system you're bound to find more than a handful of tracks you like - sort of along the lines of "there's something for everyone" kind of thing, ya know!  If you have questions or if you find a bad link on any of our pages, please let me know.  I'll get your questions answered (or direct you to someone who can) and any bad links fixed pronto.  Thanks for tuning in, and we'll see ya on the tracks!

APL-02 & the Jump-Cope List  posted by COPE Oct 13, 2003

As promised there's been some changes made where the aforementioned track lists are concerned.  Specifically, we made a few additions and a couple of deletions:

Added to APL_02:

Calamity of Hiroshima

Calden Lake

Chase the Dragon

Orient Express

R.U.O.K. &

Replica Fan's Gallery

Added to the Jump-Cope List:

ZoON Kitchen 2 (merged w/ZooNPak2.zip)

Deleted from the Jump-Cope List:

Old Ruin Run

Pappalardi

For the APL_02 list, simply download the new ini and add the tracks listed above (faster than re-downloading the entire sh-bang I'm sure).  The J-C list is even simpler since all you have to do edit ur existing ini (delete 7pappalardi.pod & oldruinrun.pod, then change the pod no. from 81 to 79.  If you'd rather not be bothered with that for fear of the dreaded "type-o", just download the new ini for the J-C list and poof! All done.  If you're really, really conscientious about hard drive space, go ahead and wipe the pod files out of your MTM 2 directory as well.

For those of you who don't have the J-C list, if you download it today, it'll include the tracks Pappalardi and Old Ruin Run.  I haven't been able to upload the amended zip due to server problems, but by tomorrow it should be good to go.  Regardless, if you get the J-C list and install the new .ini, the deleted tracks won't be applied to the game.

Finally, for ZoON Kitchen 2 download the link above and overwrite your existing "ZOONPAK2.pod" and you'll be set.
